Simon Heath
Simon is a litigation expert with more than forty years experience in a broad range of areas.
Simon has acted for clients in Courts and Tribunals in general, insurance and civil litigation matters,
administrative law matters and disciplinary matters.
Simon is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Australian Institute of Professional Investigators and a former
committee member of the Australian Insurance Law Association. Simon is also a member of the Arbiter Panel List and is a trained mediator.

Insurance law was one of the four subjects comprising Simon's Masters of Law degree.
Simon has had considerable experience in advising insurers and insureds in relation to policy interpretation and
legislative compliance.

Simon has extensive experience in prosecuting and defending public liability, product liability and professional
indemnity claims.
Simon has acted in numerous recovery and resitutionary matters.
Simon is experienced in personal injuries and property
damage claims.
Corporate Fraud
Simon provides assistance with corporate fraud matters including advice as to options and strategy and preparing
reports to insurance companies.
WorkSafe Victoria
Engaged by WorkSafe Victoria to conduct an independent review of its policies and procedures to ensure that they were
appropriate for the recently introduced workplace manslaughter offence.
"Black Saturday" Bushfires
Simon acted for insurers and their insured in the Supreme Court class actions arising out of the "Black Saturday"
bushfires.
